This weekend

So, this weekend was a blast!! We had a sorority recruitment workshop in Edwardsville, and oh my gah, it was totally fun. Thursday Liz and Kate came and picked me up, then we went through Springfield and picked up Amy, then on to Virden to pick up Nicole. We got to Emily's (#2)at about 1:30 A.M. after going to pick up some Jack in the Box drive through. Friday didn't begin until about 7:00 P.M., so we went shopping in Fairview. I bought a pair of black flip flips from Old Navy for recruitment week, some new Adidas tennis shoes I found for $39.99 that were originally $100.00, and then some K-Swiss sandals which my mom tried on and is now paying me so she can have the sandals. Then we went to Jenna's and watched Blue Crush, ate pizza, and had some soda. Liz, Kate, Nicole, Amy, Ashley, Nesh, Andrea, K.P., Luchia, Emily #2 and I went over to Ashley's boyfriends house and partied with him and some other Phi Psi's. I had a tid bit to drink and got a little buzzed, but it was a really good time. Saturday we had to be up at at Annie's custard at 10:00 A.M. and worked a car wash from 10-12. It was SO hot but it was so much fun, though the people that drove by and smiled and waved really ticked me off!! :o) Nicole, #2, and myself then went back to Alton, where #2 lives, and took showers and got some lunch. We had to be back in Edwardsville at 2, and then we had workshop 'til about 6. Kate, Liz, Nicole, Amy, Luchia, #2, #2's Mr. Manman, and I then met Zach and Kevin at the Applebee's in Alton. We all ate and then went back to #2's house and totally partied until 4:30 A.M. Needless to say, we had to be up Sunday at 6:30 so we could pack and take showers and be at SIU-E at 9:00 A.M. We had workshop from 9-1:15 and say our goodbyes and gave hugs. The five of us that rode down together went and got some Jack in the Box and some gas, then finally left town. On the way back, we had to pull over so Amy aka "green pants girl" could get sick. It was sort of funny because she was so totally laughing at herself. I don't think any of us felt really swell after the night before. Anywho--I got home about 4:45 and my mom took my brother, his girlfriend, and myself out to Bonanza. After I got home, I laid down in bed and fell asleep and didn't wake up until 7:00 A.M. I was a little tired--just a little bit. Anywho--I'm glad I went.
